Last year's United Way of Calvert County Day of Caring was a huge success! Many thanks to all the volunteers and agencies who participated.

On September 12, 2007, scores of volunteers from local businesses and organizations proved once again that they care about our community by reporting to work sites at local nonprofit organizations and public schools to tackle meaningful volunteer projects.

This year's event promises to be just as successful, and we hope to see you and your team out there with us pitching in! Remember, the Day of Caring works because you, the local business owner makes it work. A small amount of time and effort donated by your team goes a long way to making a positive difference for so many in our community.
